Smart Move Design partners with Realtors, builders, relocation companies and homeowners to stage a home to sell quickly and for top dollar. We consult, recommend, redesign, and even shop – giving the home a look buyers will love. We provide lived in and vacant homes with that “model home” look. We service the Central and Northern New York areas.
Lisa Ryan has lived in Central New York all her life. Prior to launching Smart Move Design she worked at Syracuse University in the School of Art and Design. She was Program Administrator for two Master of Art’s programs in Visual Communication and adjunct faculty for Visual Communications Symposium. Throughout her time at the University, Lisa had the opportunity to travel, work, and learn from artists and designers around the world.. Combining visual communication with home staging to sell homes is a natural fit. Her knowledge, along with her eye for decorating, space and design has enabled her to sucessfully stage and redesign homes throughout the area..Summer weekends will find Lisa and her family on Mink Island in the 1000 Islands for both work and play. She is certified in Home Staging and Redesign. Lisa is a member of the American Society of Home Stagers and Redesigners, International Redesign Professionals, and the Interior Design Society.
Taylor Regal joined Smart Move Design in September 2008 from a varied background in the Home Furnishings arena. In 1989 Taylor relocated from California to work at the MacKenzie-Childs Ltd studio factory in Aurora, NY. During her 16 years at MacKenzie-Childs, Taylor worked in almost every facet of the business -from personal assistant to the designer, to buyer for their 4 retail stores. After her marriage in 2005 she relocated to Phoenix, NY, leaving MacKenzie-Childs in search of a career closer to home. Her passion and design experience has led her to a career as a Professional Home Redesigner and Stager.
